Indonesia plans to execute 16 prisoners after the Muslim Eid al Fitr holidays in July, and more than double that number in 2017. The country has harsh penalties for drug-related crimes, president Joko Widodo refuses to pardon the prisoners. “In accordance with the budget we have, we plan (to execute) 16 this year and 30 next year,”attorney general spokesman Mr.Rum said.
